Head of integrated children's services

Claire is currently Head of Integrated Children’s Services at St Mary’s Kenmure having previously held the post of Head Teacher within the service since 2019. She has extensive experience in the voluntary sector, working in leadership roles with a focus on culture, service development and improvement. Claire has led schools within residential childcare settings for over 15 years, achieving sector-leading grades throughout. She has contributed to several national steering groups, informing Scotland’s approach to trauma responsive practice and restraint in schools. Claire also works with Education Scotland in an Associate Assessor role.
