Louise Gordon
Specialist interventions services team manager
Louise is a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a background in Psychology and postgraduate training in Psychosocial Interventions and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Since 2010, she has been dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and young people working across secure care, close support, and residential settings.
Passionate about making a meaningful difference, Louise has further developed her expertise with training in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Ties assessment and therapeutic interventions.
At the heart of her work is a strong belief that every child and young person deserves compassionate, evidence-based support to reach their full potential.
Louise joined St Mary’s Kenmure in 2019 taking on a new role as Assessment Officer, and she has since progressed to managing the Specialist Interventions Team. Within this role Louise also delivers evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and their families.
